Clipper Group confirmed Tuesday that it was behind the acquisition of four handysize bulkers from compatriot shipowner Norden.
The Danish shipowner said it would take delivery of the four 32,000-dwt vessels in the coming months. No financial details were disclosed.
Clipper said it will take responsibility for the commercial and technical management of the Jiangmen Nanyang-built ships.
Clipper said the Nord Hong Kong, Nord Houston, Nord London and Nord Vancouver (all built 2011) will be entered into the Clipper Logger Pool.
