An attempt to create not just the world’s first zero-emissions ship but a whole fleet of them is set to be unveiled this year.
The project, based on optimised hull designs matched to Windship Technology’s rigid sail propulsion rigs and eventual use of alternative fuels, promises to generate fuel cost savings of up to 80% and meet all near-term emissions targets, particularly for CO2.
