BW LPG has made a rare excursion into the demolition sector sending one of its oldest gas carriers for scrap.
The Oslo-listed shipowner confirmed to TradeWinds that the 57,180-cbm Havfrost (Built 1991) is set to be recycled.
The Norwegian-flagged vessel has reportedly been sold to breakers in India for $275 per ldt, or $4.4m for the 16,019-ldt vessel, according to cash buyer GMS.
