Briese Schiffahrt is keeping the multipurpose and heavylift sale-and-purchase sector busy.
Founder Roelf Briese has confirmed that the German shipowner recently acquired four giant Amber-type heavylifters for an enbloc price of about $54m.
The purchases are part of an ongoing fleet renewal programme that has seen around 50 secondhand vessels bought and sold by Briese in the past three years — 21 ships in 2017 alone.
