BP Shipping is understood to have offloaded a pair of aframax tankers it has been seeking to sell for several months.
The 114,800-dwt British Merlin (built 2003) and British Curlew (built 2004) are rumoured to have been sold for between $28m and $29m.
A Greek owner is believed to be the buyer of the vessels.
The tankers first appeared on the sales sheets in August alongside the 37,220-dwt British Esteem and British Explorer (built 2003).
