The Ukrainian company Industrial Union of the Donbass (ISD) with 75% ownership of the yard is reported to have failed to strike an agreement with the country’s Industrial Development Agency which holds a 25% state on behalf of the Polish state.
Reports from Warsaw say there could be a bankruptcy filing in January unless last minute talks resolve a liquidity crisis.
