Vardinoyiannis-controlled Avin International continues its policy of matching purchases of modern tonnage with sales of older units.
The Greek shipowner has circulated two MR tankers for sale, according to brokers. Both vessels — the 45,900-dwt Kriti Rock and 47,200-dwt Vera Cruz (both built 1999) — were built in Japan. The company did not respond to a request for comment.
