The Blue Star Ithaki (built 2000) which TradeWinds reported to be changing hands in mid-September, fetched EUR 31.2m ($39.7m), Attica confirmed today.
Attica is expected to book capital gains of approximately EUR 4m following the latest sale.
It is due for delivery by the first half of November at the port of Piraeus.
The Blue Star Ithaki will replace the Princess of Acadia (built 1971) and will be operated between Saint John, New Brunswick and Digby and Nova Scotia.
