In a statement the shipbuilder’s NewYork-quoted parent, General Dynamics, confirmed that the 50,000-unit will be built at itsfacility in San Diego.
It told investors that construction is scheduledto start in the fourth quarter of 2015 and said delivery is due in thesecond-quarter of 2017.
General Dynamics also pointed out thatthe newbuilding order follows a long-term charter between APT’s parent, KinderMorgan, and an unidentified counterparty.
