A Wallem-managed car carrier has picked up five yachtsmen in distress off Corsica.
The rescue of the sailors on board the Jab De Mar took place at the end of August and involved the 4,750-ceo Coral Leader (built 2006), which is owned by NYK.
The car carrier was en route to Tarragona in Spain when the master received a call from the French coastguard asking for help, Wallem said.
