Russia’s oldest maritime transport university has signed up to become the country’s affiliate to the Nautical Institute, the international body that represents maritime professionals who control seagoing ships.
The Volga State University of Water Transport was recently formally admitted as a "Nautical Affiliate" of the institute, opening the way for its faculty and students to share their knowledge and insight.
