All 22 seafarers have been evacuated from a Shreyas Shipping & Logistics containership that was burning off India on Thursday.
The Indian Coast guard rescued the men from the 1,118-teu SSL Kolkata (built 2007) 55 miles off Haldia.
The blaze broke out just after midnight and spread to 60 containers, prompting the master to give the order to abandon ship.
