A post-panamax bulk carrier collided into a pier at Argentina's San Lorenzo port.
The 92,500-dwt Ocean Treasure (built 2010) made contact with the port's Terminal 6 berth while conducting berthing manoeuvres on Tuesday at 2230 local time, according to Argentinian law firm Vega & Co.
The accident resulted in "huge damage" to conveyor belts, gangway and container cabin with one person inside placed over the gangway, said Alejandro Vega, partner with Vega & Co.
