A vessel and its crew were reported safe on Wednesday after coming under attack from gunmen off West Africa.
The incident happened in the Gulf of Guinea south of Accra in Ghana on Tuesday evening, according to piracy reporting body Maritime Domain Awareness for Trade – Gulf of Guinea (MDAT-GoG).
It said the attack was over by the early hours and the ship was proceeding to port.
