Rear Admiral Paul Thomas, the assistant commandant for prevention policy at the USCG, says the organisations “will soon take action” to ensure compliance with revised fuel restrictions that will be implemented on 1 January 2015.
“We will be coordinated in our efforts to ensure compliance with the new requirements,” he said in a recent statement, adding: “That includes working with EPA to actively check for compliance and taking appropriate enforcement action.”
