Uruguay's National Navy has suspended an salvage operation for a grounded Team Tankers chemical tanker off the country's coast.
The operation to refloat the 44,600-dwt Siteam Anja (built 1997) will resume on Thursday, navy spokesman Gaston Jaunsolo said, according to broadcaster Radio Monte Carlo.
The Marshall Islands-flagged ship ran aground 18 May on Isla de Lobos, an island off Punta del Este.
