A UPT tanker has suffered power failure after an electrical fire in the English Channel.
A Multraship tug has been sent to the 40,000-dwt Cape Bon (built 2003) off Calais after the incident on 19 December, local media said.
The tanker has 32,200 tonnes of cargo on board.
AIS data showed it at anchor off Calais on Wednesday morning.
Two crew have been taken off.
