India’s coast guard and navy have come to the aid of a UAE tanker that took on water off Goa.
The 3,300–dwt Infinity 1 (ex Infinity Ace, built 1993) got into difficulty on Wednesday evening 20 miles from the coast, local reports said.
It had reported water ingress and was listing to starboard.
In heavy seas, rescue crafts were sent to the scene.
