Two crew members of a Beluga Shipping vessel hijacked recently by Somali pirates have sensationally managed to escape.
The fate of the other 10 crew members of the 9,775-dwt Beluga Nomination (built 2006) is unknown, however, as a mutiny against heavily-armed pirates proved only partially successful.
The Danish warship HDMS Esbern Snare plucked the two escapees from a life raft off the coast of Somalia on Friday, NATO wrote in a statement.
