Better than anticipated progress has been made in removing containers from the wreck of Costamare’s Rena but bad weather is leading to increased fears the ship might break up.
As can be seen from the Maritime New Zealand photographs since the first box was lifted from the 3,032-teu Rena (built 1990) amazing progress has been made.
