The25,268-dwt Stolt Valor (built 2004) has berthed at Arab Shipyard and Repair Co(ASRY) to undergo repairs.
It was allowed to enter ASRY after Bahrain’s General Organization of Sea Ports (GOP) granted the shippermission to take refuge in its waters.
Reports say ASRY’s initial focus will be a safetyinspection prior to any further work to ensure the vessel has no outstandingsafety concerns.
She will then be transferred alongside for a detailedinvestigation to be carried out in conjunction with the owners to determine thebest course of action going forward.
