A Stealth Maritime Corporation’s vessel that was involved in a collision with a US warship earlier this week is currently discharging its cargo of fuel oil.
Singaporean authorities have cleared the 50,800-dwt Alnic MC (built 2008) to offload 12,000-mt of oil, the company said in a statement.
Once the discharge is completed, Alnic MC will proceed to a Singaporean anchorage to undergo further assessment and repair.
