South Korea and Russia have agreed to a new cooperation on Arctic Sea routes, Yonhap reports.
The agreement came following talks today about joint efforts to explore shipping routes across the North Pole and the building of icebreakers, the news wire says.
"The two sides consented to close cooperation in order to expand utilization of Arctic routes in the future," South Korea’s Foreign Ministry said.
