Shipping has been urged to keep clear of the navigational channel to the east of the Red Sea Yemeni island of Zuqar due to suspected mines.
The Yemeni Coast Guard have claimed that Houthi militants have placed a number of naval mines in the vicinity.
The Associated Press reported last month that the Houthis had planted a naval mine in the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
