All 16 crew of a Vietnamese general cargoship have been saved although the vessel sank following a collision with a handysized Thai bulk carrier.
The 3,600-dwt Truong Hai Star (built 2006) sank with a cargo of containers and new vehicles after sustaining a hull crack in the collision.
