The master of a tiny Dutch ferry is missing after it was struck by a German ship and capsized near Amsterdam on Friday morning.
A frantic search for other passengers who were onboard the vessel on a canal outside the city is ongoing.
A spokesperson at the Netherlands Coastguard, which is not involved in the rescue operation as the incident occurred inland, named the cargoship concerned as Duisburg Ruhrort.
