A major search and rescue operation is underway in the South China Sea after a bulk carrier sank in heavy weather.
Seven crew members are missing from the 27,000-dwt Bright Ruby (built 1987) which went down some 350 miles south of Hong Kong.
Some 14 crew members have been rescued from the vessel which was on a voyage from Malaysia to China.
