A bulker controlled by China’s Redwood Ocean Shipping Co (Rosco) ran aground twice in the Columbia River but has been refloated as many times.
The US Coast Guard says the 82,200-dwt Rosco Palm (built 2011) suffered the first grounding Friday night near Skamokawa in the US state of Washington.
The Hon Kong-flagged kamsarmax was refloated and moved upstream to reduce collision risks.
