A Tallink ro-pax demolished a lighthouse because sea water had entered its fuel pipes, an accident report has found.
The 15,400-gt Regal Star (built 1999) allided with the Remmargrund structure on 30 October off Kapellskar, Sweden, on 30 October.
The Estonian Safety Investigation Bureau (ESIB) said in a report that the ship had left Kapellskar on time, according to BNS.
