Maritime security firm Praesidium International has said three crew may have been kidnapped on Monday off Nigeria.
An incident took place involving the landing craft Laeticia V, it said.
The vessel was 135 nautical miles south-west of Brass in the Gulf of Guinea at the time.
No further information was available.
