No injuries have been reported after a blaze broke out on a Pemex tanker in Mexico.
The fire hit the 46,000-dwt Nuevo Pemex IV (built 1989) at the Talleres Navales del Golfo (TNG) shipyard in Veracruz on Saturday, AVC reported.
The vessel was in the process of being scrapped.
The presence of diesel and mattresses during demolition was blamed for the incident.
A plume of black smoke was visible above the yard.
