The US Navy has intercepted a North Korean controlled general cargoship suspected of carrying missiles or other arms destined for Myanmar.

The 4,650-dwt Light (built 1984) was involved in a standoff with the guided missile destroyer USS McCampbell over several days off the Chinese coast before abandoning the voyage.
