The US Coast Guard has closed part of the Mississippi River in Louisiana after a tug sank this morning.
The closure is from mile marker 224.5 to mile marker 226 near Baton Rouge.
The agency closed the river after the tug Michelle Anne sank in the Baton Rouge General Anchorage at 11 a.m. Thursday morning.
The four crew members were rescued by a nearby tug and no injuries were reported.
