A Maersk Line containership has lost a number of boxes off Charleston in North Carolina.
The Danish owner said between 70 and 73 containers collapsed on, or fell overboard from, the 10,081-teu Maersk Shanghai (built 2016) in a storm on 3 March.
The vessel was later anchored. US Coast Guard officers boarded to check for damage, which Maersk said had been limited to one cargo bay.
