Salvors continue to carry out firefighting operations on the Maersk Line container vessel Maersk Honam as it voyages to a UAE port of refuge.
Maersk's 2M partner MSC said in a note to customers that the ship has reached a position halfway between Karachi in Pakistan and Muscat in Oman, in the northern Arabian Sea.
The vessel is still being towed to anchor at Jebel Ali, where cargo will be offloaded.
