A crewman from a Hoegh LNG carrier is facing time in jail after an altercation became rather too heated for a chilled out ship.
A 39 year old Filipino has been sentenced to 60 days in jail by a Norwegian court after a scrap with another seafarer on the Hoegh LNG carrier Arctic Lady.
The fight meant the 147,208-cbm Arctic Lady (built 2006) vessel had to return to the Norwegian port of Hammerferst when the seafarers turned to fisticuffs.
