A cargoship supplying the Galapagos Islands has been stabilised after developing a heavy list.
El Universo daily said the 3,100-dwt Baltic Betina (built 1983) got into difficulty on Sunday near San Cristobal Island.
It was in a stable condition later on Sunday, according to the president of the government council of Galapagos, Lorena Tapia.
