The Japan Ship Owners’ Mutual Protection & Indemnity Association has taken an independent view of the outlook and is setting its general increase at 10% - double the level of the next highest increase.
The shipowner directors of the Tokyo based club today broke ranks with other International Group club who are charging increases of up to 5% from the 20 February renewal.
