The protection and indemnity clubs are well placed if commercial underwriters pose a competitive challenge, Standard Club underwriter John Reily told the TradeWinds Marine Risk Forum.
Reily recalled that perhaps a decade ago there was a surge of interest from the commercial market in fixed premium P&I and thinks it might well happen again.
