An Indonesian ferry broke down off Bau Bau after it ran out of bunkers.
Local reports said tanks ran dry on the 4,600-gt Jetliner (built 1996) shortly after it left the Buton Island port on Friday.
It was bound for Sulawesi with 60 passengers.
The Pelni-owned vessel was adrift for several hours before it was brought back to Bau Bau, which is said to be suffering a bunker shortage.
