An Interlake Steamship-owned laker was involved in collision Sunday on Lake Michigan, which damaged on small boat and caused the temporary closure of a drawbridge.
The 28,388-dwt Kaye E Barker (built 1952) hit a small boat and a drawbridge spanning an inlet to Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Witnesses to the incident say the self-discharging bulker appeared to clip a dock for small boats before hitting the drawbridge.
