Huge gambling debts caused a Chinese man to leap to his death from a Star Cruises casino ship off Hong Kong at the weekend.
The 51-year-old drowned after hurling himself from the 1,730-berth SuperStar Aquarius (built 1993) on Sunday.
The man, identified only by his family name Xu, is said to have jumped overboard after racking up losses of HKD 5m ($644,000) playing baccarat onboard.
