A containership has collided with a bunker tanker and a bulker after going off course in Germany.
Local police said in a statement that the incident involving the 1,578-teu boxship Calisto (built 2005), operated by Peter Dohle Schiffahrts, happened on Sunday on the Elbe near Brunsbuttel.
The 39,000-dwt bulker Interlink Affinity (built 2016), managed by BSM, was being refuelled by BMT Bunker and Mineraloeltrans' 1,300-dwt bunker tanker Claudia (built 2003) at the time.
