In a brief statement the Finnish ro-rooperator said officials have determined that the 2,500-lane Finneagle (built 1999) isseaworthy and can return “to normal traffic”.
The company indicated that loading isalready underway and noted the ship is due to depart Kapellskar at around 4:00pm local time, which suggests the vessel was refloated.
It pointed out that the two other ferriestied to its FinnLink service are operating on a normal schedule and said theFinneagle will too by no later than this Saturday.
