Eight crew have been evacuated from a Turkish gneral cargoship taking on water off Croatia.
The Hina news agency said the master and four other seafarers had remained on the 3,100-dwt Haksa (built 2001), which suffered damage near Jabuka island on Sunday.
The men - six Turks and two Indians - have been brought to Split by a police boat.
