Danish owner DFDS has said there was no fire on board a ro-pax that broke down in the Baltic Sea.
Reports had spoken of a blaze or explosion in the engine room of the 25,700-gt Regina Seaways (built 2010) while it was en route from Kiel, Germany, to Lithuania's Klaipeda on Tuesday.
But the company said there had only been technical problems.
