A more powerful tug is being brought in to refloat a crewboat that grounded on a reef off Mexico.
The 163-gt Palo de Tinte (built 1980) is stuck at Alacranes, according to the El Diario de Yucatan website.
The Marinsa de Mexico-operated vessel is being monitored by the environmental protection agency Profepa.
It will conduct inspections to determine the environmental damage caused by the hull and apply the appropriate sanction, the report said.
