In an article in TradeWinds’ 15 December edition regarding the wreck removal of the Kea Trader, it was incorrectly stated that the total cost of a comparable job, the Rena, was $650m. The Swedish Club informs TradeWinds that this figure is incorrect and the total cost incurred by the Rena casualty to date is roughly $430m. The overall estimate of the eventual cost remains at $450m as previously notified to the pool and reinsurers.
