The9,200-teu MSC Pamela (built 2005) hit the 17,000-dwt Wilmar controlled productscarrier Theresa Libra (built 2007) in the South China Sea in March 2011 with blamefor the collision agreed to be 75% the responsibility of the containership.
Theowners of the two ships engaged the Ince and Holman Fenwick Willan law firms respectivelyto resolve the liabilities and it was agreed that most of the liabilities andcosts should fall on the MSC Pamela.
