The Russian was formerly the chief mate aboard the Norbulk Shipping managed 428,000-cbf reefer Murcia Carrier (built 1996).
In April last year, at the direction of Georgiev, crew members on board the Murcia Carrier dumped several barrels containing some hydraulic oil overboard.
